Daisy obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law, graduating 7th, in her class. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree also from the University of the Philippines, graduating cum laude. After graduating from law school, Daisy worked for several years in Quisumbing Torres Law Offices (Baker & Mckenzie), specializing in commercial and tax laws. She then worked for 22 years in a publicly listed company with business interests in realty, leasing, manufacturing, distribution, banking, insurance and land title management, serving as Head/Chief Legal Counsel, Corporate Secretary, Compliance Officer and Director of the said company and its subsidiaries/affiliates. She has vast experience in commercial law practice, such as contract drafting, corporate housekeeping, incorporation, registration of securities, merger and acquisition, foreign investment, legal audit, corporate restructuring, and liquidation. She currently heads the Corporate Law Department of ACAPF Law.
