Christine was a licensed Chemical Engineer before pursuing a career in law. She obtained her Law Degree from the University of St. La Salle in 2014. She also obtained her Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Carlos (Cebu) in 2009, after which she assumed the finance and human resource operations of a family-owned business. While in law school, Christine was a member of the University Moot Court team, competing in the International Humanitarian Law and the Stetson Environmental Law moot court competitions. She also co-coached the Philippines team in the 2017 Asia Cup moot court competition in Tokyo.
